Santa’s mailbox is coming to town!

The Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority (CIHA) is thrilled to announce the arrival of Santa’s special mailbox at the hospital on Friday, December 1, spreading festive cheer throughout the community.

Starting December 1 through December 18, Santa’s mailbox will be stationed in front of CIHA primary care, conveniently located next to the outside children’s play area. The mailbox will be accessible Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., providing the perfect opportunity for families and children to share their holiday wishes with Santa Claus.

CIHA invites everyone, young and young at heart, to pen down their letters to Santa and drop them into the enchanting mailbox. To ensure that each letter receives a personalized response from Santa himself,  be sure to include a return address on your letters.

“We are excited to bring this festive tradition to our community and provide a joyful experience for families during the holiday season,” says Brittney Lofthouse, Interim Director of Public Relations at CIHA. “Santa’s special mailbox is a wonderful way for children and families to share their wishes and dreams, creating lasting memories for all.”

For those unable to visit the hospital but still eager to send their letters to Santa, CIHA offers an alternative option. Letters can be mailed to the Cherokee Indian Hospital Foundation at 1 Hospital Drive, Cherokee, NC 28719, ensuring that every letter finds its way to the North Pole.

“We understand that not everyone can make it to the hospital, so we want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to participate in this magical experience,” adds Lofthouse. “Every letter we get that includes a return address will receive a personal card from Santa!” The Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority looks forward to fostering the spirit of giving, joy, and community during this festive season.
