Get ready for a bewitching night that combines the spirit of Halloween with the importance of breast cancer awareness! The Cherokee Indian Hospital Foundation is thrilled to announce the first annual Trick or Treat(ment) Halloween Bash, a captivating event that promises an unforgettable evening filled with music, dancing, and costume contests, all while raising awareness about breast cancer and the significance of regular mammograms.
According to the American Cancer Society, when breast cancer is detected early, and is in the localized stage, the 5-year relative survival rate is 99%. Early detection includes doing monthly breast self-exams, and scheduling regular clinical breast exams and mammograms.
To raise awareness surrounding the importance of early detection, The Cherokee Indian Hospital Foundation is teaming up with Native Brews Tap & Grill to treat anyone who schedules a mammogram between now and October 26 to a free meal at the restaurant on October 26. In addition to lunch or dinner at Native Brews, anyone who schedules their mammogram will also be invited to celebrate taking a proactive approach to their health by receiving free entry into the Trick or Treat(ment) Halloween Bash, which will begin October 26th at 8 p.m.
The Trick or Treat(ment) Halloween Bash promises a night to remember for all attendees. The event will feature music, creating an electrifying atmosphere for dancing and fun. Costume contests will undoubtedly steal the spotlight, with categories including Scariest, Most Creative, Best Group Costume, and the special Breast Cancer Awareness Theme.
Prizes will be given to those who bring their A-game to the costume contest, offering a delightful blend of entertainment and competition
You don’t have to schedule a mammogram to join in on the fun – you can show your support for breast cancer awareness by just attending the Halloween Bash. Tickets can be purchased at the door for a $20 donation to the Cherokee Indian Hospital Foundation and will grant entry to the festivities and comes with a ticket for a free drink! This donation supports crucial radiology and mammography services, enabling the Cherokee Indian Hospital to continue its essential work in the community.

In addition to the Halloween Bash, Native Brews Tap & Grill will be donating a portion of proceeds from dine-in services throughout the day on Octobe 26 to the hospital foundation to support mammography services.
